One Month
My one month old baby you are 7 pounds. You are the sweetest, cuddle bug, you love to be on Momma's chest, and you love when I sing you lullabies. You do not love when Mommy sets you down, or when you have to get your diaper butt changed. I could stare at you forever and a day.
Mommy has been stressed and worried about you gaining weight. The doctors say you are just a little peanut baby and that is okay, we will work on waking you up in the night to feed you more often. We are using formula and breast milk.
You love bath time and cuddling up in cousin Jennifer's baby blanket. This month has incredible.
You came home from the hospital on January 2nd and we spent the first week downstairs on the couch in front of the Christmas tree lights. It was beautiful, my little miracle. Mommy was very sick and started to feel better around January 9th and I was finally able to unmask and kiss you. You are already a farm baby, you go out with Momma to do chores, and wear your little snowsuit. You sit in your cars eat while Momma uses the plow truck, and you don't seem to mind the bumps.
